As you know from last year term the jee exam is giving you two chances in a year to increase your score or to get experience of the exam in first chance .
And nit Trichy is one the best NIT and to get admission in this college Various factors are there which decide that what score you score you should acquired.
First of all it depends upon the exam difficulty level and all others students preparation.
Ranking of the college in latest year.
Students preference and choice filling.
And to get admission I think you should score 250-270 + marks if exam is of moderate level.
And this score varies according to the branch .
Like for non core branches this score may lowers upto 200-220 +.
So you should try your best and study hard.

Glad to hear from you that you are thinking of nit Trichy which is really a good nit. For this you have to study really hard and score near about 250+ so that it will be a little more easier. Cut off varies every year with respect to branch also. If you score above 250 you will certainly get it. One more suggest  is that chemistry and physics are the scoring part put your maximum focus on these subjects..
