Hello aspirant,

An MBBS degree from any Institute authorized by the Medical Council of India is the minimum need for becoming a Cardiac Surgeon. They should then pursue a three-year MS in General Surgery. After that, they should complete a three-year MCh in Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery.

To move forward, you must score a minimum of 50% on all prior performances. So to become a cardio surgeon you must get minimum 50 percent marks in +2. But I suggest you to score good marks as they will give you immense confidence.

Thank you

Hope this information helps you.
