Dear Chandan, to get into NIT Trichy you must be among the top 100. Last year the opening rank for ST category for other state quota was 43 and closing rank was 82. That simply means your score should be above 235 to achieve this rank.
Also since the new changes and new marking scheme the cut offs may increase as negative marking has been removed from numerical questions.

To get a seat in Computer science Engineering NIT, Trichy you need a decent rank.You need to score in between 150-200 or above as the competition will be very high. A candiddate from ST category with rank 53 secured a seat in CSE in NIT, Trichy.Opening rank was 25 and closing rank was 53.For this you need to work very hard and be consistent in your practice.Aim bigger, giver your best.I hope this is helpful to you.
