Hello,

The NEET UG marks required for admission to government or private medical colleges in India vary significantly by state and institution.

- Generally, for government colleges, candidates need around 550-600 marks out of 720 to secure a seat in top-tier institutions, while scores of 500-550 may suffice for lower-ranked government colleges.

- For private medical colleges, the cutoff can range from 400-500 marks, depending on the college’s reputation and location.

It’s important to check the specific college’s cutoff trends and state quotas, as these factors can influence admission chances.
