To be eligible to get admission through EAMCET one needs to qualify in EAMCET. For candidates belonging to general category he/she must score minimum 40 marks out of 160 marks in EAMCET. But scoring just the qualifying mark may not enable the candidate to secure admission in a college. So you need to score minimum 80-100 marks to get seat in a decent institute. If you wish to get admission in State government University then you need to score minimum 120-130 marks or about in EAMCET. Seat allotment depends on the rank of the candidate, total number of seats available, cut off rank, category and total number of candidates applied for counselling. Cut off changes every year depending on the total number of candidates appeared, difficulty level of examination and total number of seats available etc.
