Hello student,

You haven't mentioned the state and category which are prime factors that determine the admission cutoff of government medical colleges in NEET. Different states have different cutoff in their medical colleges. Cut off also varies according to category.

However qualifying cutoff for MBBS in NEET 2019 was 50percentile for unreserved candidates and 40percentile for reserved canfidates. You can go through the link to have an brief idea about qualifying cutoffs in previous year NEET. https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-cut-off

Hello student,

NEET is an entrance exam for all medical colleges in India. Neet exam contains total of 180 question with 720 marks. Generally the qualifying cutoff goes around 130-170. But this would not satisfy to get a good government based Medical college. The cutoff for every medical college goes around 450+. So to be on the safer side you can score 500+ marks.

All the best.

The aim to get govt. college through NEET ,you must have to secure 600+ marks as the cutoff rises every year.To get admission through 15 percent All India Quota, you should aim to secure 600+ marks in the NEET exam and for state quota seats aim 550+ marks to get admission in government colleges.
