Hii Sweta,

The Answer to How many Hours an Aspirant has to give to Crack CAT completely depends on the Individual's Knowledge ,No of days left for the Exam and the Mode of learning.

If you start the preparation right now to crack CAT 2019. It is well sufficient to prepare with cool mind and strategies. It doesn't matter how many hours a day you read, What matters is how much subject you  learnt new.So instead of Hours make a target of completing a particular topic or concept everyday. So that you will be able to complete the Syllabus and do better in Practice. just to make you understand you should give minimum 4-5 hours a day to crack the exam.
