Inorder to be in the NIT / IIT /IIIT / CFTI or State funded technical institute you need to have the minimum score of atleast 75% in Class 12th if you are from the General Category student and for the other categories students it may get vary  whether you are from Jharkhand or any other Central Government Board  and for getting into the the private institutions there will be the individual criteria for every college and there is not any specific percentage cuttoff for writing the JEE mains.

The percent required for the JEE mains is PCM with minimum percentage of 50% is complusory
