after 12th, you can do many courses to get a posts like deck officer ,catering department and engineer etc.,

• simply you can do B.E/B.Tech in marine engineering to join NAVY
• To be a deck officer,you can do B.Sc or diploma in nautical science.
• to join in a catering department,you should do maritime catering course or b.sc in marine catering.
• under officer entry,you can get through direct SSB.
• you can take sailor entry too(without NDA Entry)
