Hello,

According to the official announcement, if one candidate appear for more than one time (maximum 4 times) in the upcoming JEE 2021 then the highest score obtained by the candidate will be considered for evaluation.

So, if you appear for 4 times then the highest marks obtained by you in those 4 attempts will be considered and based on that you will get your rank and after that the processes for JEE Advanced and counselling will be same as previous years.

Hope it helps!

Good luck!

Hi.

Admissions in IIT from B.Tech is through JEE Advanced. Student's best result would be taken in consideration for counselling and cutoff clearance. A candidate who has cleared cutoff will appear in JEE Advanced to further take admission in IITs

If you have a further specific query please feel free to comment.

Best of Luck.

Hi

First of only JEE mains is going to be conducted for times in a year or in 4 sessions. And the second thing is your admission in IIT is through JEE advanced which will be conducted only once in a year.

Coming to how marks will be selected  out of the Four Sessions:-

When a candidate appears in more then one  sessions then the best performance out of the  attempted sessions will be considered for admission i. e if you appear in all the 4 or 3 or 2 session of Jee mains, then your best score out of these  attempts will be considered for your  admission.

It totally depends upon   students, if they want to  appear in all these 4 sessions of jee mains or not; so it's entirely student's choice. One is free to  appear in all the four session or only in 3 sessions or only two  sessions or even in only one session

I will suggest you to give all the sessions of jee mains , so that even if you are not able to score good marks in February session, you will get an idea of the paper pattern and what kind of questions are asked and you will get to know about your weak areas and then you can work on them and can score good marks in jee mains other sessions. Good luck for your jee preparation.

To prepare well you can go for our jee program at the convenience of your home, the link for the same is provided below
