how to become a nia officer complete information
Hello Aspirant,
Hope you are doing well...
National Investigation Agency (NIA) has been constituted to investigate and control terrorism in the country. The NIA reports directly to the Ministry of Home Affairs and is given some special powers by the central government.
Most officers are selected from the IPS (Indian Police Service) or the IRS (Indian Revenue Service) and to become an IPS or an IRS, candidates are required to crack the Civil Services Examinations.
For the post of SI (Sub-Inspector), the candidate is required to clear the SSC-CGL Examination. The Combined Graduate Level (CGL) examination is conducted by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) and is held once every year. Once you join the NIA as an SI, you could get promoted further based on experience or internal examinations that are held.
The minimum eligibility criteria are that the candidate must have a bachelor's degree in any discipline and must be no older than 30 years of age.
For more information on the SSC-CGL examination, eligibility criteria, recruitment process, etc, refer to the link provided below:

Hope this was helpful.
Should there be any other query, please feel free to ask.
Good Luck!
