Hey Shruti.
The overall rank in JEE Mains will be released on 30th April after both the January and april session are considered.
If you appeared for both sessions then best of two marks will be considered for calculation of the rank. If you appear only for one then the marks in it will be considered for calculation of rank.
The total scores as well as the scores for each of the three subjects- Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry will be released on 31st January for the January session of JEE Mains. Right now only the Percentile scores have been released.
These are based on the relative performance of all those candidates which is calculated by transforming the scores into a scale ranging from 100 to 0 . This is the normalized score and not the raw scores. RAW SCORES will be released on 31st January. And the rank list will be released on 30th april.
Best of luck
