Hello Ashutosh,
Based on our rank predictor formula,
Rank =((100 - your percentile)/100) * total number of candidate on that shift.
For ease we take Total number of candidate which is 850000 in Jee main Jan.
Thats why we provide rank range.
With more features our rank predictor provide you more specific details about your rank.

For example: if any candidate is getting 95 percentile than his rank is 42500 as per our rank predictor formula. His rank rank from 40000 - 45000.

Note:Careers360 is not responsible for any varies in prediction. Prediction is based on previous year cutoffs. NTA result is final.
