1. Admission Process (NEET – General Category):

  1. Appear for the NEET UG exam conducted by NTA.

  2. After results, apply for counselling through:

    • AIQ (All India Quota) via MCC (15% seats)

    • State Quota Counselling (85% seats)

  3. Select colleges and lock choices.

  4. Seats are allotted based on NEET score, rank, and preferences .

  5. Report to the allotted college with documents and pay fees to confirm admission.

    2. NEET Score Requirement (General Category):

  • Government MBBS College: Usually above 620–640+

  • Private MBBS College: Around 300–500+

  • Cut-off may vary each year and by state.

    3. Fee Structure (MBBS Course):

  • Government Medical Colleges: Rs. 10,000 – Rs. 1 lakh per year

  • Private Medical Colleges: Rs. 6 lakh – Rs. 15 lakh per year (can go higher)

  • Deemed Universities: Rs. 12 lakh – Rs. 25 lakh per year

Step-by-Step Process:

  1. Qualify NEET UG with the minimum cutoff marks for General category.

  2. Register for counselling :

    • All India Quota (AIQ) – 15% seats via MCC (Medical Counselling Committee) at mcc.nic.in

    • State Quota – 85% seats via respective state counselling authorities.

  3. Participate in counselling rounds (Round 1, Round 2, Mop-up round).

  4. Choose and lock preferred colleges based on your NEET score.

  5. Get allotted a seat and report to the college for admission and document verification.

  6. Pay the admission fee and complete other formalities.

    2. NEET UG Cutoff for General Category (Expected 2025):

  • Minimum qualifying percentile : 50th percentile

  • Minimum score (expected): Around 137–720 marks

  • To get MBBS in government college , aim for:
