There is no need to find home state rank,
You  just have to understand home state quota .
Under the home state quota , the seats are reserved for candidates based on their state of eligibility which is basically the state where they have completed their Class 11th and 12th from.
In short home state quota provide you more chances to get into your state NIT and state colleges

As per your querry if u get any home rank in exams i am afraid there is no use of that rank in jee mains. They only consider the marks that you got in the main enterance of jee . wishing you luck
