Hi,

The easiest way to pursue an undergraduate course in IISc is through kvpy. Even with an ordinary rank ( <300) one may get a seat. But you need to register for admissions beginning February.

The other channels are JEE ADVANCED , AIPMT etc but their cutoffs are high.

Cutoffs for 2016 was AIR 280 for KVPY ( both SA and SX) and JEE Advanced and 280 marks in the JEE Main ( out of 360). { in general category} I don’t know about NEET and the reserved categories.

Cutoffs for KVPY were 215 in both the streams this year. Cutoffs are decreasing and all aspirants should take note of this.
