Hello,
To do well in the current affairs section you should be up to date with all the major issues/happenings in our country and the rest of the world. Read newspapers, magazines and prtiyogita darpan.
if you want a better understanding of the topic I would suggest that you search for the issue and listen to Rajya Sabha TV channel in Youtube, where you can listen to experts speak on the pros and cons of the issues and you can get a better picture of the topic.
