First you find Important topics then start preparing notes in your own language and you have time try to get help from the internet also so you get multiple answer of same question.

@Amina: Mentioning your branch would have helped. Note making way varies from subject to subject. Few students do not consider making notes effective so what you can do is make 2 notebooks minimum. Practice/solve and write formulas in one and for correcti
