CMAT is a national level entrance test held for admission to MBA and PGDM programme. You require minimum 50% as a general category & 45% as a reserved category in your graduation to apply. It comprise four sections that is Logical Reasoning, Language Comprehension, General Awareness and Quantitative Techniques & Data Interpretation.

CMAT generally focuses more on Static GK questions from areas like Geography, Economy, Polity, Science & Technology, Corporate & Business GK, etc. Within these broad areas, World Geography, Indian Economy and Business, Science and Technology are mostly asked in the exam.

CMAT Current GK questions are based on popular areas like Economy, Business & Corporate News, Indian Polity, Organizations, New Developments in Science & Technology, Sports, Miscellaneous etc.

Preparation Material

In order to prepare for General Awareness, you should develop a daily habit of reading newspaper like The Hindu or The Indian Express.

Understand the important terms used in economics and banking and follow a weekly or fortnightly business magazine to stay updated about the latest happenings in this field.

You can prefer any GK preparation book like Arihant etc.
