The basic difference between the standard GMAT and the new Focus Edition is that the previous edition was longer in duration. It also included a writing section and had four sections with more questions. With a shorter duration, the GMAT Focus Edition has just one optional break. Besides, it has no writing section and consists of only three sections with 64 total questions.
