Hello Arun, You can prepair for both simultaneously because KVPY exam held in October and jee held  two time now in a year January and april, and the syllabus of both the exam are quite same ,you have just to do is for KVPY solve previous year smaple paper more ,and for Jee go in detail for everything as well solve previous year question for this exam as well! As the time gap between both the exam will be more  if you choose jee paper of April one ,so you should first focus on KVPY upto October and then on jee ,all the best

Hope this will help you.

Hello Arun Gupta,

KVPY and JEE are literally poles apart . But if you are interested in both you can attempt them, there is no problem.

Actually all matters is your interest. KVPY is for research line students and JEE is for technical purposes. If you want to go in research field then you should attempt KVPY. If you want technical line i.e engineering then you should clear JEE.

You can prepare for both the exams simultaneously very easily as the syllabus for both of them quite same .But you have to finish the course by the month of September to confidently appear in KVPY. For that I will suggest that solving the previous year’s KVPY papers will do a lot. After clearing the aptitude you will be shortlisted for interview that is very crucial.

For preparing for JEE more concept clearance is required and problem solving ability should be enhanced. Practice papers, solved papers of previous years will help the most.

All the best!!
