Dear Ragul,

If you want to take admission in NITs you should try to score more then 130 marks in JEE Main and to get top branch like CSE in top NITs you should try to score more then 230 marks in your exam.

In order to score good marks in JEE Main you need to be dedicated and self motivated.

First, you need to get good hold on your subjects. Take help of NCERT books it will help you to make your concepts clear and to build your fundamentals strong.

Give extra attention to the topics which holds more weightage in the exam.

Apart, from NCERT books you can go through HC Verma for physics, OP Tandon for Chemistry and RD Sharma for Mathematics.

Refer previous year papers to know the exam pattern and to know the level of the questions asked in the exam.

To score good marks you need to do lot of practice Speed and time management is very important in JEE Main. It tests your pressure handling skills and how quick you can think so you should solve as many as mock test series for your practice.

All the best for your preparation and exam!!

Hi Ragul Ravichandran. See, scoring 100 in 10 days is difficult but at the same time it is not impossible.

You are going to have to work really really hard for the next 10 days. Divide the subject topics among different days and start following it. Study qualitatively. Remove all sources of distractions and start working. Take breaks and study with full concentration. Use e-learning tutorials for better preparation.

I hope these tips will help you:

  • Identify your strong, moderate and weak topics in every subject.
  • Revise the syllabus whichever you have covered during board examination.
  • Cover entire chemistry of 11th and 12th class NCERT which will help you like anything.
  • Practise previous years question papers in given time.
  • After solving the question paper, count your score and in the end try to rectify your mistakes in the paper.

All the best!
