Hello
Since the JEE Main exam is being held in multiple sessions, to ensure equivalence, the scores will be normalized as per the computational methodology. Overall normalized scores will be announced along with the subject wise ones for each attempt.
For ranking purposes the better of the two scores will be considered. Compilation of result and preparation of merit list/ranking will be done as follows: The four NTA scores for each of the candidates for the first attempt and the second attempt will be merged to enable compilation of result and preparation of the overall merit list declaring the ranks.
The best of the two NTA scores will be considered for preparation of merit list/ranking for students who have attempted the exam twice.
JEE Main result will display details of the percentile scores.
Good Luck!
