For studying Master's in any subject, you should have studied that subject in your Bachelors. For example, to study MA in Sociology, you should have studied BA in Sociology. But with BA in English Honours, it might not be a possibility. This holds true for Regular mode. However, there might be Institutions which offer MA Sociology through Distance Education without any prior subjects in Bachelor's degree. You might have to try there.
