Yes there is a good chance of getting shortlists from IIMs and final admission too. Backed by a very good percentile in CAT'18, you stand strong chances of getting calls for GD-WAT-PI process. What I mean by good percentile is 90+ because there definitely happens to be certain amount of weight given to 10th and 12th marks and since you being slightly lower on this stand, your cumulative scoring can be balanced by an excellent CAT percentile and then by interview and WAT-GD. Above all, to be factual, you being an engineer really need to score very high and work extremely hard because, you don't have an advantage of academic diversity too. But yes, with your smart work and determination, you can definitely get into IIMs in 2018. Start from now and make your dreams come true.

You can easily secure in admission if your score is above 98 %le. If your graduation score is good enough you can secure admission to old IIMs also. If your graduation score is not that good, you might need 99+ for old IIM conversion.

Yes it is possible to get into an IIM witht those marks. You have to be consistent during the next year and keep practising. With a good CAT percentile you can get into IIMs. However getting into A, B or C will be very difficult. Actually you should not even consider them. But apart from with a high percentile(99+) you can get into the other IIMs.
