I am a dropper i am preparing for neet 2019 and my preparation is not so good there are only 53 days left to the exam please

NEET UG exam consist of questions from syllabus of Class 11th and Class 12th. Syllabus of the exam is vast and it is practically not possible to complete the whole syllabus in detail within 53 days. However, working smartly can help you to score a good rank in the exam and get seat in any decent medical college.
You should cover the topics which carry more weightage. It has been analysed that out of 7060 concepts/definitions in physics, chemistry and biology in NEET, only 16% concepts/definitions were asked till 2017 paper and  73% paper of NEET UG 2018 was based on these 16% concepts/definitions.
You should work on these concepts only to score good marks in the exam. You should solve previous years question papers and mock tests. It will help you to know about the exam pattern and type of question asked in the exam.

review preparation of not that good then I think it is already too late in order to appear for neet 2019 examination but I will still not data you if you have solid concepts from Bhosle HC Verma and physics, truman and biology and op Agarwal in chemistry and have special attention to the important chapters of modern physics, thermodynamics, mechanics and physics, microbiology, biotechnology, biomolecules from animal physiology from animal kingdom and photosynthesis in biology and carbonyl compounds and hydrocarbons inorganic chemistry, ionic balancing inorganic chemistry and atomic structure along with chemical kinetics and energetics in physical chemistry in all you need to do right now is simply practices many and sixes in the wise many time based MCQ examinations is possible in order to maximize your marks and minimise your negative marking in your upcoming neet examination and it will also help you with your time management question selection skills in examination

try dedicating 2 to 3 hours to each subject with an interspersed gap of about an hour between every two subjects

Preparing for NEET is difficult and as hardly time is left for the entrance exam, you need to study in a smart way if you want to get admission. Follow the below given tips and plan your schedule accordingly so that you can cover the important chapters/topics atleast from which maximum number of questions are asked every year.

Biology- The most scoring subject and maximum questions are asked from the NCERT only. So make it a habit from now onwards to study biology daily. Then only you'll be able to score maximum in this subject. Go for the important chapters first - the human physiology chapters, genetics, animal diversity, biotechnology, ecology. Try to make keyword type notes so that it'll be easy for you to revise in short time. Your notes should include the following points:

Classifications

Examples

Statistics

Important dates

Years

Short forms- Full forms

Name of the scientists

Tabular details

Reactions

Mechanisms

Biological cycles

Diagrams and their labellings

Summary (given at the end of each month)

Also go through the textual exercises once



Chemistry- Go for the Organic Chemistry chapters first. As every year 12-15 questions are asked from the organic chemistry portion. Study and understand the basic nomenclature first and practice questions accordingly. Go through the illustrations. See the solved questions in reference book like OP Tandon and practice MCQs.

For Inorganic chemistry, you need to read NCERT- and solve questions. It is theoretical part mainly.

Lastly for Physical Chemistry, concepts and application of formulae is main. Practicing questions can give you better idea of the question-level-pattern + your concepts will be more clear.



Physics- This is a practical and applying logics kind of subject. No theory will help you in understanding physics, but applying logics and the practical knowledge will do more. Refer Concepts of Physics by HC Verma - reference book to understand the basics. Prepare formulae chart and start practicing questions.

The important chapters are modern electronics, semiconductors, optics, alternating current, Thermodynamics, SHM and Waves.

Study Physics in the morning hours, as mind stays more fresh in the early morning hours and so you'll be able to concentrate more.



Stick to your schedule and do not waste a single second. As per your preparation level, you must  know it very well that how much efforts you need to put for these end days left. Do not stress yourself and study in a smart way.!

Hi Akansh,

First and foremost Please do not panic, that makes you forget even the part you already learnt. You still have around 1.5 months left. If you are from CBSE board , you must have had prepared for your board exam last year, you might have lost touch of it but you haven't forgotten it completely, so try to brush up the whole of NCERT syllabus which would hardly take 2-3 weeks for Chemistry and Biology, for Physics it might take 1 month. Along with it try to solve sample question papers available online. If you are from other board try to go through your textbook as much as possible. Since you are a dropper, you must have bought so.e study materials from various well known coaching institutes, try to go through them as well.

You can also take up various crash courses available online. But these are helpful for revision. So my suggestion to you would be to first be thorough with your concepts by reading textbooks and solve as much sample questions as possible keeping the time as well. After all these if time permits you might take up some crash courses online.
