I am a first year (2019-20) student of Mathematics (Hons.) and have passed class 12 with Physics ,biology, chemistry, Math from WBCHSE in 2019. can I apply for NEET and what code do i fall under?
Shreya, you are eligible for NEET. But you should also fulfil Age and aggregate criteria. You should be 17 years atleast by December 31st of 2020. And you should also scecure a minimum aggregate of 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. It is 50% for General Category, 45% for PWD and 40% for OBC,SC,ST.
Look at the eligibility once:
- Indian Nationals, NRIs, PIOs, OCIs, and Foreign Nationals
- No upper age limit as of now. The Candidate should be at least 17 years by December 31st of 2020
- You should have completed your 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as your Core Subjects.
- 50% Aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Biology for General Category, 45% for PWD and 40% for OBC,SC,ST Candidates.
- NIOS and Private Candidates are also eligible
Your code shall be 07. Code 07 says: Any other examination which in scope and standard (Last 02 years of 10+2 Study comprising of Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Bio-technology; which shall include practical test in these subjects) is found to be equivalent to the Intermediate Science Examination of an Indian University/Board, taking Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology including practical tests in each of these subjects and English.
