The General height criteria for female officers in police services is around 150 centimeters. However, the height limit is relaxable to 160 and 145 cm for men and women respectively in the case of candidates belonging to ST and races such as Gorkhas, Garhwalias, Assamese, Kumaonis, Nagaland Tribals, etc. Adding furthermore, the women's chests should be at least 79 cm and expandable up to 5 cm.
