Hi aspirant
As you have already passed in your core subjects, and kaths was an additional subject, you need to worry. The eligibility criteria for NEET is that you need to have passed in Physics, Chemistry and Biology and English as core subjectes. Hence, you are eligible to appear for the NEET examination. Furthermore the eligibility criteria for Neet 2023 is:
- The candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English as core subjects.
- The candidate must have attained the age of 17 years as on 31st December 2023.
Now in order to qualify for the exam, you need to score a percentile as per your category, in order to be eligible for admission to state government/private medical/dental colleges.
The qualifying criteria is as follows:
UR: 50th percentile
OBC/SC/ST : 40th percentile
PwD: 45th percentile

Hope this answers your query
All the best:)

Dear aspirant

As mathematics was your additional subject and also overall status of yours is passed in class 12th then mathematics not gonna affect your neet eligibility. You will be eligible as PCB and English are your in core subjects which you have passed sucessfully.

The class 12 percentage required for NEET 2022 exam is separate for each category and can be listed as under. NEET eligibility marks in class 12 to be considered are aggregate marks only for PCB subjects

  • UR - 50%,

  • OBC/SC/ST - 40%,

  • PWD - 45%

For eligibility in neet you must have also 50% or more aggregate marks in PCB subject's which I hope you would have that.

If you met above aggregate marks criteria then you are eligible for taking NEET without any doubt.

Predict your admission chances in MBBS / BDS / Ayush seats, use our neet college predictor tool from link below
