Yes, you may appear in DCET after finishing diploma. The following are the eligibility criteria to appear for DCET:
1) The candidate should have passed diploma or equivalent exam.
2) Candidates should have minimum 45 percent marks in fifth and sixth semester. The percentage is 40 percent for SC and ST.
