I am BC ,my brother got 188 cutoff marks last year, now I got the same cutoff marks, what is the difference between last year and this year?

Hey buddy, it is supposed that the cutoff marks for this year has been reduced.
The difference is you can get somewhat better colleges where your brother couldnot afford lastyear.
