i am currently in semester 2 of M.Sc. but my results for sem 1 are not out yet. what should i fill in the aggregate section of master's details in the cat form?

As you are in the 2nd semester of your MSc, you haven't qualified MSc as a result your highest educational qualification will be BSc. Now as you will be in the final year in 2022-23 then for CAT 2022-23 you can apply as a MSc appearing student.
