Hello,

Last year, cutoff of NTSE was 120 out of 150. This year, due to the change in the exam pattern, the cutoff is bound to show a rise. With 148 marks it'll be a little difficult to estimate the NTSE Tamil nadu cut off. Getting seleceted for stge 2 of NTSE will depend on the cutoff released by SCERT TN in the third week of March. As a General category NTSE 2019 you should have 40% of 200 marks. You will have to score 40 marks in each- MAT and SAT and overall 80 to qualify. Your score is good enough to qualify, But the selection for the second round depends on Tamilnadu NTSE cutoff. You can check Tamilnadu Cutoff.

It should be noted that there might be changes in cutoff due to change the Exam Pattern.

Good Luck!
