Hi,

Your eligibility to receive benefits under the SC category for upcoming schooling or government work if you graduated under the general category but have a SC (Scheduled Caste) certificate depends on a number of factors:
If you have a valid SC certificate, graduating under the general category may not have an impact on your future eligibility for SC benefits. Your SC status is not automatically void just because you graduated under the general category.
A valid SC certificate issued by the appropriate authority is required. When asking for reservations in government employment, education, or any other benefits, this certificate is essential.
If you want to be eligible for related perks, you must explicitly indicate that you are a SC applicant while applying for any job or course.

Hope you find this useful!
