Dear Misabh, under State quota in 2018, 517 marks secured a seat in RG Kar Medical College and Hospital under General Category. With 525 marks, it is a close call. Having said that, cut offs change every year and are dependant on various factors like no.of seats available, no.of candidates appearing for the exam, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam. Because the variation is just 9 marks, we would suggest you to wait until the official Answer key had been released to weigh in yoir options. With a score of 525 in the general category, you have chances of procuring a seat in the RG kar medical college, when comparing the results of previous years. Last year, a minimum score of 517 was required to fetch one a seat in that college in general category under the state quota. But, one thing to keep in mind is that scores and ranks vary each year with difficulty level of the question paper and availability of seats.
