As the cutoff for most of the gov. colleges closes at approx  6-7k rank so.. there is less chances for you to getting any government college.. and same is applicable for top most private colleges too 

but you can further go for some more private colleges or some less demanding baranches in top most college.

wait for actual counselling and keep hope alive.
