Hello,

To say frankly, this is totally based on your interest, concentration and IQ level.

I will provide some popular courses after 12th.

After 12th you two routes

  • Engineering (technical)
  • Normal degrees
  • Medical
Note that every course has its own uniqueness, so take these three as references to proceed

  • If you want to go through engineering, you would have opted for PCM
since you haven't mentioned your 12th stream, possible chances for each sream could be

PCM: generally it has lot of opportunities you can go through any degree except medical.

PCB: It has very few routes to take either to become a doctor or pharmacy which are mainly concentrated upon

MEC: if you are from this stream, you can look for BBA,CA..mainly based on accounts and business.

THESE ARE SOME WAYS THAT YOU CAN GO TO THE DIFFERENT PROFESSION BASED ON YOU STREAM.

Look dont go by the opportunities, rather go based on your own interest, it may not be a engineering or a medicine. Oppurtunities are good for every course,so decide yourself.

ALL THE BEST!!

  • If a student has interest in pure sciences then he/she can opt for BSc in any of the subjects like Physics, Statistics, Microbiology, etc.
  • If a student has interest in computer related fields then he/she can opt for BSc in Computer Science or BSc in Information Technology.
  • If a student is interested in business, finance, management then he/she can go for Actuarial Science, B. Com, BBA (Bachelor of Business Administration), Company Secretary (CS) and other such similar courses.
  • If a student is interested in Arts field then he/she can opt for B. A (Bachelor of Arts), B. F. A (Bachelor of Fine Arts) ,    B. F. D (Bachelor of Fine Arts) , B. J. M (Bachelor of Journalism and Mass Communication).

Also for students who want to prepare for Civil Services Examination (exams conducted by UPSC) or any other entrance exam mostly choose undergraduate courses depending upon the subjects which would be helpful in entrance.

So choose according to where your interest lies. A student can excel in any of the field if studied sincerely.
