You should apply for GRE general test. GRE subject test is an additional test given by students for showing their knowledge depth in one subject. GRE general test is necessary to be given in order to apply for graduate schools but GRE subject tests are not (in most cases). However, some colleges might ask for GRE subject tests as well as the GRE general test for applying, so do check the college's (in which you are planning to apply to) website.
