Hey Abhishek! Admissions in Bachelor of Technology in Metallurgical Engineering can be obtained through entrance examination that are conducted on national, state or institute level. The candidates are required to study subjects such as physical metallurgy and extraction metallurgy etc. Average fee of the course is INR 75,000/annum; it is relatively less for government institutes. Candidates applying for the course must have prior knowledge of basic chemistry and physics. The basic eligibility criteria is pass in all the necessary subjects like physics, chemistry, Mathematics and English in 10 + 2. Hooe this may help you.

Hii aspirants

let me clear your doubt. to be metallurgical engineer you have to take admission in engineering college and to take admission in engineering college you have to qualify entrance exam like jee main and advance or some state board exam if you want to study in state board engineering college.

So if you want to do metallurgical engineering from iit or nit then crack jee exam with high rank.

I hope my answer will be helpful for you Good luck
