you want to do PhD in electronics engineering then you should give GATE exam through which you can take up Mtech along with Ph.D from reputed institutes like IITs, NITs.

or you can give JEST Examination  which is conducted by  CSIR-NEET and it opens the path for Ph.D. research in institutions like TIFR, BARC, SINP, IUCA, etc.The exam happens twice a year
