Yes, you are eligible to appear for the JEE Main 2025.
The eligibility criteria for JEE Main 2025 state that you must have passed or be appearing for your Class 12 (or equivalent) exam in 2023 or 2024. Since you are currently in your first year of B.Tech, you meet this eligibility criteria.
However, please note that appearing for JEE Main 2025 won't affect your current B.Tech program. It's an additional attempt to improve your JEE Main score and potentially get admission to a better college or program.

Think before taking any decision about changing college in your first year as it waste your 1 year and it is not 100 percent sure that you get IIT.it is also difficult to prepare for jee with your degree it may cause lower your percentage in first semester.o
I suggest you to study well in you BTech from whatever college you get.. prepare for GATE.. n get into IITs for MTech..
