Hey nivedita,

According to your query,

Yes definitely you can clear your JEE entrance exam without coaching.  The only key to clear this exams is self studies and some smart work like refering chapter wise  question bank for each subject and solving them will definitely improve you in studies and also help you to clear your exams.

Best of luck for your future.

Hope you find it useful.

Thank you.

Hello Aspirant!

It is a very popular  trend nowadays to take up coaching for the preparation of JEE MAINS and ADVANCED. However, one shouldn't get confused between popularity and necessity, ie, taking coaching doea have its advantages and it does make things easier but it also has its own share of diasadvantages and one can crack the entrances even without it. Coaching classes take up a lot of time of your day and it is very exhausting, thus, allowing very little time for self study. Also, if you are preparing on your own, then you might consider taking up DLP courses wherein you can get study material and you can give mock tests.

HELLO NIVEDITA!

IF you are seeking to clear jee mains,

YES, you can clear it by just focusing on boards. many of my friends have done it this way.

YOU NEED TO PRACTISE SOME PAST QUESTION PAPERS AND SAMPLE PAPERS AT LEAST 3 WEEKS BEFORE JEE EXAMINATION.

YOU SHOULD ALSO CHECK OUT THIS COMPETITION CUM SCHOLARSHIP TEST https://learn.careers360.com/careers360-talent-search-exam/?icn=qna&ici=announcement.

NOW IF YOU ARE SEEKING TO CLEAR JEE ADVANCE,

IT TOUGH, YES, it's VERY TOUGH .

YOUR SCHOOL TEACHERS ALSO WILL NOT BE ABLE TO SOLVE MOST QUESTIONS [ PERSONAL EXPERIANCE].

SO it's BETTER TO TAKE COACHING FOR JEE ADVANCE.

HOPEFULLY, MY ANSWER HELPS.
