You should know that there are total 3 attempts possible for a student to clear JEE exam.  In each year this exam appears twice so you get total 6 chances in 3 years.  As you told that you already attempted twice in two years so you can definitely give this exam last time in 2020 but keep one thing in mind that this would be your last chance and if you are rigid to clear this exam then best of luck my friend.  Moreover,  it will not affect your placements because your placement is all about your skill and your college marks not your school or JEE or dropper.

U can surely appear in jee main (Jan+April) 2020. But not in Jee(advance) 2020.make it clear.

There is no problem whatsoever in your placement if you are dropper.There will be problem if you wont be able crack jee mains this year because this will be your last attempt. Forget about placement and focus on preparing for jee and try to get good marks and rank and once you enter NITs and IITs you definitely will get a good placement.

Yes, you can appear in JEE 2020 after appearing in both the JEE Mains phases in 2019. Besides, a drop of two years is not going to affect your CV at all, during the placement. What matters during placement is your performance in college.
