Andhra University, School of Distance Education, established in 1972, is an important part of Andhra University in providing Higher Education to all sections of society. The university offers BA, B.Com and BSc. programs at UG level. At PG Level, AU SDE offers MA, M.Sc, M.Com & LLM programs. It also offers Professional courses in MBA, Executive MBA, MCA, MHRM, MJMC, B.Ed. and B.Ed. III Methodology / MA Education III Methodology. The university also offers Diploma, PG Diploma and certificate courses.

Examination: Selection to MBA is done on the basis of APICET or Entrance Examination conducted by the university. After the examination, a merit list will be prepared and then selection to the individual courses will take place.

Eligibility criteria: Any graduate except BFA & BA (O.L.) with minimum 50% marks. Must have qualified SSC/Intermediate with Mathematics as one of the subjects. And for the executive MBA program, the eligibility criteria will be, any graduate except BFA & BA (O.L.) with minimum 50% marks. Must have qualified SSC/Intermediate with Mathematics as one of the subjects. Minimum of two years of in-service experience after graduation.
