For your clarity I want to tell you that the EWS certificate is offered at both Central and State level. Therefore you would be eligible to to avail the benefits of EWS certificate from the the central government if you fulfill the other required criteria mentioned below:

• Must be a General Category
• The family income must be less than Rs. 8 lpa.
• He or she must not have 5 acres of land for agriculture.
• The area of residence of the applicant and his/her family must be less than 1000sq ft.
• For a notified municipality sector the area of residence must be below 100 square yards.
