I belong to OBC and want admission in jk institute Allahabad and last year for OBC it was closed at 20k. That 20k was CRL rank or OBC rank?

Hi Abhishek,

According to the official website of JOSAA,

The closing rank of CSE for OBC candidates last year was 14812(category rank).

The closing rank of ECE for OBC candidates last year was 15767(category rank).

20k rank which you've mentioned is wrong. You must always check the closing rank from the official website, which is https://josaa.nic.in/Result/Result/OpeningClosingRankArchieve.aspx

Oops..Just tell me that in jossa councelling or even in spot round councelling I will get that college by my OBC rank or by my CLR rank?

what is your rank in CRL? If it's less than 100k, then you'll get admission for sure.

well, the cutoff for general category in spot round was 78k. So obviously, your OBC category rank would be used.
