When it comes to eligibility for UPSC candidates needs to have passed or appearing in the final year of graduation in any discipline from a recognized university. There's no minimum aggregate required in this case.

Now,one thing you've to understand that there's nothing like a quick thing whether it comes to graduation stream or even UPSC , it takes one year to prepare for UPSC exam and another one to appear. No matter in which field you do graduation, it's going to take 3-4 year and more in case of medical.

UPSC is more humanities oriented, so if you've inclination towards any of the subjects among Political Science/Public Administration/History/Geography/Economics/Law etc you can pursue.

If you don't want to go for any of the above option,then it's best you think about your areas of interest and go ahead with that, for instance there're many engineering students who have in the past graduated,gained some work experiences and thereafter appeared for UPSC, and it's also good to have a back up plan, you should do what suit you, if you're determined from this stage only to go for UPSC, then the sooner you start preparation the better it is, you can also qualify in your first attempt with single-minded focus and dedication.
