Hello aspirant,

To become a Judge in the Indian Judicial Services, one must appear for the Judicial Services Examination or PCS (J)-Provincial Civil Service-Judicial Examination . The PCS-J examination is an exam for law graduates to become practicing members of the subordinate judiciary.

Furthermore, the eligibility criteria to become and qualify to become a Judge in India is as follows : The person should be a citizen of India. Must have an LLB/LLM degree. He/She should have been a judge of a High Court for at least 5 years or he/she should have been an advocate of a High Court for 10 years. Apart from these, a person is also eligible if he/she is an exceptional jurist according to the president.
