Hi dear candidate,

The Council of Architecture (CoA) needs a 10+2 and a diploma with mathematics subject being compulsory along with at least 45% overall aggregate marks. If you fulfil these conditions, then you are surely eligible for NATA entrance exam.

Hello,

To apply for NATA , the basic eligibility is:

  • You must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Maths, or

  • You must have passed a 10+3 diploma course with Mathematics .

Since you have completed a diploma in Electronics & Telecommunication, if Mathematics was one of your subjects, then you can apply for NATA.

Hope it helps !

Yes, you are eligible to appear for the NATA (National Aptitude Test in Architecture) entrance exam after completing a diploma in Electronics & Telecommunication.

NATA eligibility requires candidates to have passed 10+2 or equivalent with Mathematics as a subject, or a 10+3 diploma (any stream) recognized by the central/state government. Since your diploma is after 10th and is recognized, you meet the basic educational criteria.

However, since Architecture is a specialized field, having done 10+2 with Mathematics is typically preferred for B.Arch admission, but diploma holders in allied fields like Electronics & Telecommunication can apply for NATA and then take admission in B.Arch courses if they qualify.

Make sure to check the specific eligibility criteria for the year you are applying, as rules can slightly vary. In short, diploma holders like you are generally eligible for NATA and subsequent architecture admissions.

Yes Atharva, you can be eligible for NATA even after completing a Diploma in Electronics & Telecommunication, provided you have studied Mathematics as a compulsory subject in your diploma. NATA requires candidates to have either completed 10+2 with Mathematics or a 10+3 Diploma with Mathematics. There is no age limit for appearing in NATA.

Your diploma marks also matter; generally, you should have a minimum of 50% aggregate in your qualifying exam. Since you have completed your diploma, you already meet the educational requirement.

My suggestion would be to check the official NATA notification for the current year to confirm eligibility and application deadlines. Also, start preparing for the test sections like Mathematics, Aesthetic Sensitivity, and Logical Reasoning, as these are important parts of the NATA exam. With your diploma background and proper preparation, you should be in a good position to attempt NATA successfully.

If you have completed a 10+3 diploma and Mathematics which is generally a core subject in Electronics & Telecommunication diplomas.

and have 50% marks in the diploma with Mathematics.

Then you are eligible to apply for NATA according to Council of Architecture (CoA).

Hope it helps..
