Hi Titly,

For admissions in Medical and Dental colleges across India, the entrance exam required in NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test), conducted by a body called NTA. This is a mandatory test for all Dental colleges.

The pattern of  this test comprises

45 questions from Physics

45 questions from Chemistry

and 90 questions from Biology.

And thus, Physics becomes a mandatory subject that the candidate must have undertook in the high school.

The eligibiliity criteria for this exam also includes the requirement of an aggregate score of 65% in PCB subjects (Physics, Chemistry, Biology). And so, it is not possible to get into Dental without physics.

All The Best.
